Why waste money on a new machine?

Most of the time you don’t have to spend hundreds of pounds getting a new machine. It is much more economical just to upgrade your current machine. Here at Subnet1 we can upgrade pretty much every aspect of your desktop or laptop.

Running low on storage?

Doesn’t matter if you have a laptop or a desktop, a new bigger hard drive means you can carry on using your machine just the way it was but with additional space.

With desktops we just install an additional hard drive alongside your current one. So lets say you have an 80GB hard drive now. We can install a 320GB alongside of that so you would have 400GB over all.

With laptops it’s a bit more difficult as there is no space to put an additional hard drive. So what we would do is clone your current hard drive into a bigger size drive. So if you had an 80GB to begin with. We would remove it and insert a new 320GB drive so you would have 320GB of space over all.

Prices vary depending on if the drive you have is the old model which is IDE or the newer one which is SATA. If you are not sure which one you have that’s no problem. Just bring it in and we will let you know.

Additional memory would make a big difference to how well your machine runs. We can increase both laptop and desktop memories. Depending on how old your machine is and what kind of memory it has the prices would vary. If you don’t know which one you have don’t worry. Just bring it in and we will let you know.
